Job Description
The junior project manager acts as a support to the various departments essential to the good management of projects. S/he is directly involved in all stages of the project, from shop drawings to delivery to the site. S/he must demonstrate proactivity and exemplary organization. Your rigor should allow you to learn all the basics of the trade until you are able to manage entire projects.
Responsibilities
Support senior project managers in their daily tasks
Plan deadlines
Attend customer meetings and document them
Make sample requests and control product quality
Validate and transmit approval and manufacturing drawings
Prepare price requests and liaise with the estimation department
Take site surveys
Administer the progressive invoicing of projects
Coordinate the installation on the sites
Requirements
2 years of relevant experience in a related field
Knowledge of cabinetmaking or construction an asset
Good reading of plans
Possess a valid driver's license
Be able to travel to the United States
Knowledge of Autocad and Bluebeam an asset
Fluency in spoken and written English
