Job Description

The senior project manager occupies an essential place in the success of the cabinetmaking project. Main point of contact for the customer internally, s/he acts as a hub between the various departments in order to deliver a product that meets customer requirements. S/He has to deal with the frequent changes inherent in high-end projects that are the pride of Classic Woodwork.

Responsibilities

• Plan deadlines

• Manage budgets and ensure the profitability of projects

• Establish a good relationship with the client

• Document communications

• Transmit the quality requirements to the organization and validate the quality produced and delivered

• Coordinate, validate and transmit approval and manufacturing drawings

• Manage changes and requests for extras

• Take site surveys

• Administer the progressive invoicing of projects

• Coordinate the installation on the sites

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in project management in a related field

• Knowledge of cabinetmaking

• Good reading of plans

• Be able to take site measurements

• Possess a valid driver's license

• Be able to travel to the United States

• Knowledge of Autocad and Bluebeam an asset

• Fluency in spoken and written English
